Hey folks, hope you are all doing great and started your week super safe!
I might be not much of a foodie, but luckily during our Amsterdam stay we were invited to an outstanding eating spot ever! This super cool restaurant in Midtown Amsterdam was such a great spot for us to dine – De Kersentuin! With its history of more than 30 years, this restaurant impresses today with its exciting and innovative cuisine and two-starred Michelin chef Stefan van Sprang!
If you’re about to splurge and treat yourself – dinner there would be the place to do it. Once you enter there you’re greeted with a nice smile of the restaurants stuff. The very first surprise for me was the stunning interior with its twist of modernity and classy vibe! Generally the whole decor was just on point, a bit minimalistic yet super stylish – so all of the focus was on the food! Guests have even a kitchen insight to observe the creative process.
This was definitely the best dinner during this whole trip. We ordered De Kersentuin special menu of 4 courses including amazing wine arrangement. I loved how healthy and light the food appeared to be. Everything was not only super delicious but extremely awesome presented! Gourmet food and delicacies were served like pieces of art (you can see it on the shots!)
I really loved every bite! Plus they have the most delicious dessert that I haven’t been able to find anywhere else in Amsterdam!
If you are looking for a special occasion dinner or a romantic one make sure you plan and call ahead!
We’ll definitely be back to De Kersentuin again while in Amsterdam next time!
