Hello sweeties! I hope your day is fab and this post finds you happy and enjoying your Thursday! Today’s post features some of our snaps from the Pisa visit. Pisa is well-known worldwide for its leaning tower so we just couldn’t miss the opportunity to visit it while in Tuscany. And it didn’t disappoint! What a fun to see such a cool construction and experience its “falling-effect” live!
While the leaning Tower of Pisa is definitely the most famous city monument one can find even much more – more than 20 (!) other historic churches, several medieval palaces and various bridges across the River Arno. Most of the city’s gorgeous architectural constructions root back to its history as one of the Italian maritime republics.
Our fave spot was Square of Miracles (hello tourists) situated in the old town area. I just loved the whole medieval complex of: the Cathedral (Duomo), the Baptistry and the Monumental Cemetry (Campo Santo) and of course the Tower of Pisa.
Jarvis was over the moon when he spotted almost a dozen of local dogs playing less than 20 meters away from the Tower (you can see one shot of me below with a puppy-crowd to the right).
The evening was also great as we tried some delicious local treats in the open-air restaurant just at Piazza dei Miracoli admiring one of the the world’s best sights!
I hope you enjoy the shots! Sending you good vibes only <3
