Hey folks! After this long silence on the blog I am back on track! Our baby girl is finally with us and we are in heaven here! This is definitely the most magical time of my life and I have never felt happier before.

I strongly believe that every mom’s goal for their baby is to take all the preventative measures available to keep it safe and healthy. And it is not a secret that newborns and babies in their first year are at most sensitive and vulnerable to diseases stage. Sure I will freak out many times however moms can’t always stop all the bad things from happening. But there are some amazing helpers which can bring moms and babies safe through the first year!
If you choose to feed your little angel by a bottle or to breastfeed it using bottles for outdoor times or leaving your baby shortly with a hubby up until your baby is at least one year old the bottles and other feeding stuff that comes into contact with milk will need sterilizing. If they are not sterilized properly you as a mom really run the risk of bacteria building up and causing diseases and infections.
Someone who is using bottles for your baby knows how much time and effort it takes to ensure there’s always a hygienic, sterilized bottle ready to use. So, finding the right baby bottle sterilizer makes mom’s life much easier. Fortunately the sterilization process became a breeze for moms. Not sure which sterilizer brand or even type to go for? Read on to find out more about my personal choice. Actually it was not a spontaneous decision. As you might have seen before in one of my previous posts I am a huge fan of Philips Avent. So pretty logically I decided to use Philips AVENT 4-in-1 Electric Steam Sterilizer that you can discover on my shots. At the moment it is one of the most popular steam sterilizers on the market you can purchase!
Of course electric sterilizers like Philips AVENT 4-in-1 Electric Steam Sterilizer are powered from your home’s electricity but I love that mine is roomy enough to sterilize all the parts of the bottle in one go. It is BPA-free and fits bottles, breast pumps and accessories like nipples, pacifiers or cutlery. It is suitable for up to 6 classic bottles, but both wide and narrow necked bottles can be used as well. It has a six-minute sterilization cycle and an automatic power shut-off , which can be essential if you are super engaged with something else (hey mommy!) at the moment. So you can program it and forget about it. It uses steam to kill 99,9 % of dangerous germs and bacteria from bottles. The design is stylish, clean and slim and does not take up too much space at all. I can only say that Philips AVENT 4-in-1 Electric Steam Steriliser gets the biggest thumb up from me and my little family! It offers everything you would expect from a quality modern gadget. And with its appropriate price it is the greatest sterilizing option.
P.S. This little tip is for everyone who’s new in the bottle-sterilizing-land ;-) Don’t leave the piles of the dirty bottles (even if you are busy!) lean them in hot soapy water as soon as possible. This way you can avoid any milk drying up or smelling off. The best solution is to use special baby bottle-brushes that you can purchase for cents. Rinse all the bottles and equipment under cold running water, to remove any soap rests and to avoid any gems contamination . That’s it – now your stuff is ready to be put into your sterilizer.
