The diaper duty will call for me soon – that is a fact! And as far as I can assume this duty’s going to be calling loads of time per day! But hey, the best part of it is that with that much practice I’ll definitely become a perfect expert in no time. No jokes my dearest – moms & dads can’t escape dirty diapers, but why not to make our diaper duty easier with the right setup?
Some moms believe they don’t need a changing table and that they can change diapers everywhere. But this isn’t an option for me. For me there is nothing better than perfect organization. And as I am still expecting I have enough time to organize my “perfect changing table”. I really want to avoid any mess or just run around looking for diapers, wipes or any of the changing essentials while my baby is waiting. Plus the essential benefit of changing table is to diaper my little bundle of sweetness at a comfortable and ergonomic level.
Looking for the optimal solution it was essential for me to find the product that would fit the individual nursery design, be in a fair but not cheap or extremely high-end price range, offer enough storage and be convertible. And my favorite changing table out there which met all of my requirements appeared to be the Polini Kids Changing Table in white-macchiato from their Classic Collection. The production and sales of Polini high-quality nursery furniture made of excellent materials which meet the highest certification standards make them outstanding.
Polini Kids changing table is a solid construction with drawers and convertible changing station. I really love these drawers and definitely prefer them over shelves as they hide diaper supplies. This looks much nicer in the whole interior and of course prevents curious babies from discovering the content of all the bottles and tubes.
Also this changing table becomes a dresser once I remove the changing station on top. Super practical for using this furniture item even longer! And let’s get real – convertibility makes sense as it both time and money saving!
But which essentials do you need to stock your changing station with? Of course I am not a pediatrician or a midwife and I will learn even more practicing but this is what I’ve already learned during my baby-care preparation courses. On top I made a literature and web research and talked to my midwife. So here we go with the main basics:
• Changing pad
• Diaper & wipe container (bin)
• Supply on back up diapers
• Hand sanitizer
• Various cleaning supplies for the changing table & air freshener
• Rich creams for babycare
• Baby care powder
• A toy or a mobile
Wish you all happy diaper duty & hope my personal review will be somehow helpful!
